Dunedin, NZ

Dunedin is the city with scottish heritage in NZ. Back in the day it was fashioned after Edinburgh, and it definitely has more of a resemblance to that bustling city than the charming, kilt-wearing village I was imagining! :) Supposidly, the residents still have a bit of a scottish lilt to their kiwi accent...my ear isn't that well tuned yet! :) It was rainy, the buildings were cool and we enjoyed some delicious pumpkin soup (very popular here!) in a cute cafe.
