Rangitoto is a non-inhabited volcano island a 30minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. Kristin and I hiked to the very top and were rewarded with AMAZING 360-degree views.
We hiked...uh, no crawled, though caves that had been created by flowing lava.
Me in the heart of the lava chunks...they sound like crunching glass when you walk over them!
Tim to soak our hot and weary feet....
