We ended up having a gorgeous day to explore the famous Bondi Beach. It was great people watching and of course fabulous sunshine!
It felt very 'back-in-the-day', like Coney Island, or going to the shore in the '40's, don't know why, exactly...probably the architecture.
The "life-savers" are a big deal here, a lot of history and status attached to the title and skill due to the hazards of the surf and sea in this area..they are so cute with their little red and yellow outfits and matching caps..oh yes, matching caps..
This was one of many open air markets we went to..this one had a lot of up-and-coming designers and cool vintage stuff.
