Spent Easter up north in KeriKeri where history, country and ocean views all meet.. it was a peaceful little bit o' heaven!

We stayed in this quirky Pagoda Lodge, had been upgraded to a full suite and it was maintained by orange-robed buddist monks.. it was just lovely.

Beautiful gardens everywhere!

Got to sleep in a mosquito net!! (nevermind
why I am in a net.. just appreciate the charm.. ;))

These ducks kept spying on us!

The Stone store, oldest stone building in NZ from early settler days.

The adorable little church we went to for Easter service. (FYI- we walked there from our lodge through rainforest and over a delightful river.. incredible)

Easter Brunch. (yummy bowl o' hot chocolate)

KeriKeri is in the incredible Bay of Islands.. seriously, how gorgeous is this view!?

wild kiwi fruit...!!
